Softball split the double header with Caroline today. Lost the first 7-8 but took game two 15-3. They are 4-1 this week. They have a double header tomorrow at Fluvanna at 5pm.

Congrats to the baseball team. They defeated Caroline today 9-4. So far they have 4 wins for the week and NO losses! Double header with Fluvanna tomorrow at 5 pm.

Baseball and Softball Host Caroline County today at 4:30. Baseball has one 7 inning game and Softball will be playing TWO five inning games (this is a change).

Players that are members of the band are required to leave the games early to report to the Band Concert. Your coach is aware that this is a requirement. 6th graders must be on stage at 6:00. 7th and 8th graders on stage at 6:30

Our baseball and softball teams played tough games with Prospect Heights Middle from Orange County yesterday. Softball won 12-8 in a back and forth battle that featured another Homerun from Catoria T. Great pitching from Lexi H.

Baseball took the victory in a tight 4-3 game from the visitors. What a great game to watch as the pitchers from both teams stranded many runners in scoring position to keep each other at bay.

Both teams host Caroline on Thursday at 4:30.

Tryouts for the GMS Cheer Squad will be at the end on this month, May 27th – 30th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. A Cheer Clinic will be held on the first 3 days (27, 28, 29th) to teach the potential members a routine, The official Tryouts will be held on Friday the 30th. Anyone wishing to tryout MUST have a completed VHSL physical form turned in BEFORE they attend any day of the clinic or the tryout day.

Physical forms can be obtained by following this link. You can get the form filled out by your Family Physician, at Patient First, or at any CVS or Walmart clinic. NO ONE will be allowed to participate without a completed form.

Both Softball and Baseball have HOME games today. We host Prospect Heights Middle from Orange County today at 4:30.

We have baseball and softball games at home today starting at 5 o’clock. Both are doubleheaders against Louisa.

Girls soccer travels to the Steward school for a 4:30 game.
